• Backyard BBQ is filmed for four days for their television debut on a show called New Wave New York, a show featuring young entrepreneurs starting a business in this down economy.  The documentary is aired on September 20th on NHK television in Japan, over 5 million viewers will be watching us.

• September 20, 2009- Backyard's 1st documentary airs on New Wave NY an NHK production
• July 18, 2009- Backyard Participates in its first street fair on Lexington Avenue on July 18th
• September 16, 2009- Backyard Joins Twitter
• June 27-28, 2009- Backyard attended the DC BBQ Capital Battle.  Over 200 vendors were there and we met some great BBQ greats.  One of our favorites was 3B's BBQ (ph: 443-848-6239)
• August 10, 2009- Backyard names New Leaf Iced Tea as their Tea of choice
• June 30, 2009- Backyard's facebook page is created
